MEMPHIS REGIONAL MEGASITE
The Memphis Regional Megasite contains 3,820 desirable acres ready for industrial development, with an infrastructure investment of approximately $100 million from the State of Tennessee. A workforce of more than 2.1 million people—and 54,000 advanced manufacturing jobs—are within a 90-minute drive of the site.
The Megasite is perfectly situated for global shipping, with proximity to the FedEx Hub and onsite rail connected to five class 1 rail systems. The site has easy access to the Port of Memphis and Port of Cates Landing, a Foreign Trade Zone that is ice-free all year, as well as more than 1,000 miles of navigable waterways.
The site’s direct access to seven major highways, including I-40, one of the nation’s busiest trucking corridors, puts Tennessee within a day’s drive of a majority of U.S. consumer markets. More than 400 motor freight companies in the region expand the reach to major population centers.
The Memphis Sands Aquifer provides plentiful pure water and offers industrial utility customers access to some of the least expensive water in the nation.
